Day one began with a 9.58 train journey to London Euston where we passed the 2 hours 20 minutes by playing crosswords and arrow words while disturbing the poor guy next to us. We stayed at the Smart Hyde Park View hostel which was cheap and in a good location. That was probably all that was good mind you, 6 girls in a room with 2 triple bunk beds, 3 plugs and road works from the very early hours of the morning aren't the best combination but I guess all you do is sleep there.

We spent the afternoon walking along the river from the London Eye and ended up in Wagamamas for a late lunch/early supper. It was my first time there and I cannot believe I haven't been before, it is so so good!

We then walked back and across the river to Westminster and Big Ben then up to Downing Street, Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square and ended up in Covent Garden.

We went to a bar called Maxwells for £4.50 cocktails, yummy. And in case anyone ends up there we can highly recommend the Lemon Tree.

I must also greatly apologise for the fantastic quality of the iPhone pics, my camera is currently having a difficult time turning on. :(
Check back soon for Day Two or follow my Twitter and I'll let you know when it's up! Does anyone have any recommendations for the next time I visit?
