This morning, we drove a slightly different way into Laguna
and grabbed breaky at Starbucks where I ran straight into one of those bloody
concrete bollards you Americans have at the front of your parking spaces!
We parked for free on the Coast Hwy and walked (limped) into
the centre of town stopping off to peep in all the cute shops including the
Laguna Nursery which is like being transported into a magical paradise!

Another firm favourite was Merrilee's Swimwear. To the lovely assistant who helped us, thank you so much, you were sweet and I hope you're living your acting dream :)
Lastly was of course Laguna Surf and Sport... It looks exactly like it did in the show.

By this point my toe was in rather a lot of throbbing pain so
we got the bus back to our car and drove up Park Avenue (passed the high
school) to a local favourite (thank you to the lovely man who tolds us!), Top
of the World for stunning views of the coastline.
We took a little stroll and had a picnic before making our
way back down the hill and heading back to the big city!
We opted to stay at the Rodeway Inn on Beverly Boulevard and
we couldn't have been happier. It was close to the Beverly Centre and opposite
the CBS studios and The Grove. It was simple but newly decorated, perfect.
We got a little dressed up in our maxi dresses, took one look at the menu at the Wood Ranch Grill and in we went.

We had such a fabulous meal
and indulged in my all time favourite bottle of wine - Beringer White Zinfandel
- so if anyone knows where I can buy a bottle (or a few) pleaseee let me know?
