Tea at The Pheasant, Bassenthwaite

I love a good cup of English Breakfast tea especially when it's a reward well deserved!






On Monday I completed my first incline in the 'Love Walking' series and I celebrated afterwards with tea and shortbread at The Pheasant. It is a lovely Edwardian hotel and restaurant which serves their tea, not a bag in sight and with buttery shortbread next to a cosy wood burning stove.
Feel free to arrive in walking boots or heels, both are acceptable!
