I had an amazing week experiencing the 'real' Africa in Zimbabwe but now it's time to feel back at home in Cape Town.
Our first stop is always with my mom's best friend in Wynberg. They have the most beautiful garden, perfect for napping in the sun to replenish for an afternoon at Muizenberg.
It was Joe's birthday so we went to check out the surf which was pretty washed out, dip our toes in the sea and then grab a bite to eat at Knead Bakery. We took a slight detour on the return journey up Boyes Drive to spot sharks at the top! It wasn't a very clear spotting day so we didn't see any this time.
