What better way to get out of the hustle and bustle of exciting city life in Leeds than with a walk in the park?

Golden Acre Park is 6.5 miles out of Leeds and just 15 minute bus ride on the X84. It makes a lovely afternoon out or even all day. The walks can be as long or as short as you fancy.  There's a lake in the middle to walk around and down the left hand side of it there are forest lands with very friendly squirrels.

You can then explore the gardens by the old railway stop and treat yourself to a warming drink and a snack in the tearoom.
