The Howk, Caldbeck - Love Walking Week 1

Caldbeck is the perfect village in easy driving distance from the Lakes and home for an easy afternoon stroll.

I don't love walking but I like idea and the countryside/views so a short walk is perfect for me.

In Caldbeck there is a walk to the old bobbin mill which you can make as long or as short as you wish and follows a path which works it's way through a forest, next to a river and open farm land.

You can also park for free next to the river and treat yourself to lunch in the pub at the end of the walk!

I have a few more short walks in the Lakes up my digital sleeve but can you recommend any others?
