On the road from Villiersdorp to Caldeon is a little treasure chest well worth a stop.
Dassiesfontein is a shop selling a huge variety of homeware
and gifts. And I mean huge. You will have seen from my pictures how much stuff
they have. It is made up of seperate rooms selling different things such as
door handles, soft furnishings, hooks, garden accessories, tableware, furniture
and so much more! All my favourite bracelets are from here too.
When you have finished spending enough money and filling your
remaining suitcase weight grab a cream soda float, coffee and an open sandwich
from the cafe.
Don't forget to take carrots and apples to feed the donkeys
outside before you go!
