Another must and something we always do other than Table Mountain is Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Newlands, Cape Town.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are arguably one of the world's greatest situated on Rhodes Drive below Table Mountain. They look incredible and different every time I visit and each time you could spend hours strolling from enchanted forest to waterfall and take in the variety of scents.
Recently opened is the new Bloomslang (tree snake) which is a steel and timber walkway that curves through the canopy of the trees. It begins on the forest floor and graciously opens out over the trees with fantastic views over the rest of the gardens.
The gardens are open from 8am until 7pm during the summer months and it is just R50 for an adult ticket.
Don't forget to check out the sculptures too!
