As our flight wasn't until 10pm we decided to spend the day back in our favourite neighbourhoods, Chelsea, Greenwich Village and Soho. After packing up our bags we started the day with brunch at Bubby's High Line. I had read about this place before we went and it was SO good.
You know me and Rob like our food and I love deco, Bubby's nails both. We sat outside, of course making the most of the sun and ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and the Lemon-Lime fresh pressed fruit soda to go with our New York water which was all served in jars.
After some deliberation, (there were lots of yummy options on the menu) Rob went for the Bubby's Breakfast while I went for the Huevos Rancheros. The food and the setting were just perfect and our server was also the nicest, most attentive and genuine guy we had met in New York. We left with very happy tummies and much lighter purses, I won't miss the US tipping system!
NYC - you have been unreal. Until next time!
